DuPont™ Nomex® paper is a high-performance electrical insulation material developed by DuPont, composed entirely (100%) of synthetic aromatic polyamide (meta-aramid). It contains no cellulose or added flame retardants. Characterized by excellent thermal stability, mechanical toughness, inherent dielectric strength, chemical compatibility, and flame resistance, Nomex® paper is widely used in applications such as electric motors, transformers, generators, and electric vehicles (EVs).

We also offer custom electrical insulation laminates:
NMN (Nomex + Mylar + Nomex): Consists of a polyester film (Mylar) core laminated on both sides with Nomex paper. This highly cost-effective material combines the tensile strength of Mylar with the heat resistance of Nomex (typically rated for Class F 155°C or Class H 180°C).
NHN / NKN (Nomex + Kapton + Nomex): Features a polyimide film (Kapton) core laminated on both sides with Nomex paper. This is an ultra-high-performance composite material, specifically designed for extreme high-temperature environments—Class H and Class C (above 200°C).
